Professional and Advocate Membership Criteria

Membership with the BLNA is a privilege that carries with it the responsibility to uphold the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct. To ensure that all members meet these standards, the following requirements must be met for membership:

1. Educational Qualifications for Professional and Advocate Members:

1.1 Specialised Training: Applicants must have completed extensive personal study of the Biological Laws of Nature from a source that adheres strictly to Dr Hamer’s original work and/or workshops, training or coursework in the Biological Laws of Nature.

In addition, for Professional Members:

1.2 Accredited Qualifications: Applicants must hold a relevant professional qualification (e.g., psychology, counselling, any holistic therapy, psychotherapy). The qualification must enable them to acquire therapists’ insurance and practice their therapy legally.

1.3. Professional/Clinical Experience: Applicants should be currently engaged in professional therapeutic practice or demonstrate recent experience in the field.

2. Licensing and Certification for Professional Members:

3.1 Valid License: Applicants must hold a relevant valid license to practice as a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or related professional in their jurisdiction, where applicable.

3.2 Certification: Where required, applicants should hold relevant certifications from recognised professional bodies that demonstrate their competence and adherence to professional standards.

3.3 Insurance: Applicants must hold a valid insurance to practice as a therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or related professional in their jurisdiction, where applicable.

4. Ethical Standards for ALL Members:

4.1 Code of Conduct Compliance: Applicants must agree to adhere to the association’s Code of Conduct, demonstrating a commitment to ethical practice and professional integrity.

4.2 No Disciplinary Actions: Applicants must not have any current or past disciplinary actions taken against them by a licensing board or professional organisation, unless fully disclosed and reviewed by the association.

5. Continuing Education for ALL Members:

5.1 Commitment to Lifelong Learning: Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to ongoing development through participation in continuing education, workshops, and training programs. Professional Members are to declare these annually to maintain their Professional Membership.

6. Professional References for Professional Members:

6.1 References: on request and only if required, applicants may be required to provide professional or character references, from clients relevant professionals or clients who can attest to their qualifications, ethical standards, knowledge of the Biological Laws and competence.

7. Application Process

7.1 Application Form: Applicants must complete and submit the official membership application form, including all required documentation and fees.

7.2 Review Process: The association will review all applications. Professional and Advocate applicants may be required to participate in an interview or provide additional information as part of the evaluation process.

7.3 Membership Approval: Membership is granted at the discretion of the association’s founders, based on the applicant’s qualifications, experience, and commitment to the association’s values and standards. Approval lasts one year and will be reviewed annually through a renewal application process.

8. Membership Categories

8.1 Professional Membership: Reserved for individuals who receive financial remuneration for their advocacy, work or promotion of the Biological Laws of Nature, including those who actively engaged in the practice of therapy or therapies and meet all the above criteria, each of which must be practised in full alignment of the Biological Laws of Nature.

8.2 Advocate Membership: Available to individuals who are not practising a therapy or modality but are actively involved on a voluntary basis in presenting and sharing the Biological Laws of Nature in courses, workshops and seminars, and meet all the above relevent requirements.

8.3 Supporter Membership: Available to individuals who have basic knowledge of, or are currently studying the Biological Laws, and who wish to support and engage with BLNA and its activities.

9. Membership Fees

9.1 Monthly Dues: Members are required to pay monthly membership dues, which are determined by the association and may vary based on membership category.

9.2 Payment Terms: Dues must be paid in full by the specified deadline to maintain active membership status.

9.3 Missed Payments: membership is revoked automatically upon missing a monthly payment, and a 30-day deadline is granted for all logos and BLNA materials to be removed from use.

10. Review and Reinstatement

10.1 Membership Reviews: Active Memberships may be subject to occasional review by a BLNA admin to ensure continued compliance with the association’s requirements.

10.2 Reinstatement of Membership: Membership revocation and memberships that have lapsed are required to reapply and meet the current membership requirements.
